The Iskra MT171 is a simple cost-effective MID Approved 3-phase kWh tariff meter with the following features :- MID and OFGEM Approved Meters (For revenue collection) The Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) is a European Directive (2004/22/EC) that covers a number of different measuring instrument types, including active electrical energy meters. The MID enables a 'European Type Approval Certificate' to be issued, and the instrument can then be used in any EU Member State. The aim of the Directive is to create a single market in measuring instruments for the benefit of manufacturers and, ultimately, consumers across Europe. MT171 – Three-Phase Electronic Meter The MT171 three-phase electronic meters are designed for measuring and registration of active energy in three-phase four-wire network for direct connection. Measuring and technical characteristics of the meter comply with the IEC 62052-11and IEC 62053-21 (IEC 61036) international standards for electronic active energy meters, class 1 or 2. The meters are designed and manufactured in compliance with the standards and ISO 9001 as well as more severe Iskraemeco standards.
